The pasta portions seemed small, but they were actually really filling. The drinks were fresh and just right—not too sweet or bitter. The staff was super friendly, and sitting upstairs gave us a great view of Southtown. Perfect spot for a date night!

La Fonda on Main

If you haven’t tried La Fonda on Main yet, you’re really missing out. It’s been a go-to spot for Tex-Mex and Mexican food since 1932, perfect for date nights or even a casual brunch. The shaded patio is such a nice place to enjoy margaritas, and their weekend brunch is so good—plenty of options whether you’re into sweet or savory, and the drinks are great too. I had the chilaquiles, and the portion was big enough to share. They also keep a lot of their regular menu available, so there’s something for everyone. You’ve got to check it out!
